NAIRO is excited to announce that we are seeking presentation proposals for our annual Educational Symposium to be held at the beautiful Kiawah Island Golf Resort in South Carolina on March 29-21, 2022. We are seeking presentations that provide insight and value to stakeholders around what NAIRO is terming the ‘Healthcare and Regulatory Evolution’ that is impacting the review industry. We are also seeking guidance and expertise on how review entities can continue to ‘Protect Review Integrity’ as the review landscape continues to change.

About the 2022 NAIRO Educational Symposium
Each year, NAIRO and its member companies stage an annual Educational Symposium (Symposium) discussing the latest developments and trends impacting independent medical review. The goal of the Symposium is to deliver meaningful educational content and insight, along with providing networking opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with other experts throughout the country.

About the Audience
The NAIRO symposium attracts Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Medical Directors, IT Directors, Compliance and Security Officers, Corporate Counsel, and more. NAIRO members are located throughout the country and are experts in the regional and legislative nuances impacting independent medical review across the nation.

What We're Looking For
NAIRO is seeking speakers that can address a wide range of topics related to our theme: “Protecting Review Integrity During Healthcare and Regulatory Evolution”. Your presentation should be educational and informational in nature and not include any promotional materials for a particular product or service. Presentation Format
Presentations will be scheduled in 60- to 90-minute blocks. Each block will include time for Q&A so please plan to leave at least 10 minutes of your presentation block free to answer questions. Standard A/V equipment (podium, microphone, projector and screen) will be available.

Speaker Logistics
If you are selected to speak at the Symposium, NAIRO will waive your attendance fee. We regret that we are not able to cover the cost of travel or lodging for all speakers at this time (meals are covered).  By not covering travel costs for our speakers, we are able to keep registration prices low and make the conference accessible to the largest number of participants possible.

If your proposal is accepted but you would find it difficult to attend due to travel costs, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

All submissions should include:

  • Name, Credentials, Title, Organization, Email Address, Phone, City & State
  • Session Title, Description, and Learner Outcomes
  • Speaker Biography

Proposals Due
Proposals should be submitted to NAIRO no later than 5:00 p.m. ET on October 1, 2021 using our online submission formSubmissions will be reviewed by the NAIRO staff and Symposium Committee.

We will let you know if your proposal has been accepted by November 15, 2021.
